What is US Mags known for?

US Mag is known for being one of the original manufacturers of the 20-inch passenger vehicle rims and for their signature five-spoke standard and "kidney bean Indy" wheels. They're known for their vintage wheels, including the Big Slot (AKA "slot mag wheels" or "slotted mag wheels") from their Supreme Classics collection. They've also launched a Tuckin' (no, that's not a typo; it's tuckin', not truckin') series of wheels for trucks. Parnelli Jones and Art Hale Sr. started US Mags, which they sold in 1988 when it was the largest custom wheel company in the U.S. In 2010, Art Hale Jr reacquired the US Mag brand. The junior Hale is also behind the wheel brands Foose, Niche, and DUB.

Are Mag wheels any good?

Mag wheels got their nickname from their metal alloys that originally contained mostly magnesium. They were lightweight and made using a forged or casting process. They became popular as after-market upgrades on American muscle cars in the mid-20th century. Today, US Mags Wheels are made from mostly aluminum alloys, which are stronger than magnesium but lighter weight than steel rims.

Where can I find warranty info for US Mags?

Be sure to read the fine print of the US Mag Wheel Warranty before installing your rims yourself. Wheel warranties can be voided if wheels and tires are not installed to the manufacturers' specifications. And, like most alloy wheel manufacturers, US Mag warranties their wheels for one year from the date of purchase to the original owner, under reasonable use.
