Dunlop was founded in Ireland in the late 1800s, and since then has had a somewhat interesting history of ownership and brand-name rights. According to the Dunlop website, the brand is part of the Goodyear family, which is headquartered in Akron, Ohio. The tires, though, are manufactured all over the world.
